ALTO JONIO DANCE AWARD took place in the frame of the beautiful Villapiana Lido in Calabria. The festival Award started in 2011 from the desire of Antonio Fini to bring international dance in his home place with the collaboration of the City Hall of Villapiana Mayor Roberto Rizzuto. The festival evolved in a Showcase and Sumer school where every summer students from all over Europe have the opportunity to study with international teachers and choreographers. The Showcase took place in the wonderful open door theater that can guest 5000 audience member. every year TV Star Tabata Caldironi joined the festival hosting and participating at the Reception Gala.
In 2015 the festival had to move from Villapiana to Crotone and from there the festival slowly evolved in to Fini Dance Festival.
